Marlock Electric was sent to a home in Newark, NY where the service entrance cable on the side of the house was falling and in great disrepair. We see this often due to the weather in our area and are asked to also place meters on the exterior of the home, as the older homes are primarily in the basements.
We were able to install a new service for the customer as well as place the meter on the exterior so that the power company can read it without having to gain entry into the house.
These homeowners in Newark, NY contacted Marlock Electric to help with the remodeling of their kitchen which included a lighting upgrade. Per request of the homeowners, we installed LED can lighting above the sink as well as LED style under cabinet lights to illuminate the work spaces. These LED lights are energy efficient and add decor to the room by the way the accent the counter tops and window. (Both pictures were taken after the project was completed, the only difference is the lights being turned on in the "after" picture, to exhibit the effects of our work).
We were called to a home in Sodus, NY for concerns with an exterior service cable and meter enclosure that was frayed, pulling from the house and very much worn out from years of weathering, as happens in Upstate New York. Water had been running down the cable and entered the meter enclosure which in returned caused damage as well as a safety concern. Our service technicians installed a new riser cable as well as a new meter box. As you can see here, a much safer situation for the homeowner with these much needed repairs.
This Phelps customer contacted us looking for ideas on illuminating the exterior of their pole barn. We thought that these Hinkley fixtures would give them exactly what they were looking for. They really set the building off.
This customer in Geneva is having an addition put on their house, and needed their electrical service upgraded to accommodate new circuits being added. With this request, we had to relocate the existing meter in the basement, to the exterior of the home per the utility company's guidelines. This will allow for the meter to be read without entering the basement. We upgraded their electrical service from a 100 amp, to a 200 amp service.
