Marlock Electric was called to troubleshoot flickering lights in a house and occassional power loss. Upon arrival we noticed a crack in the service entrance cable leading from the meter to the panel box. This crack had allowed water to enter the main panel and caused corrosion to the panel which therefore caused these problems. Marlock Electric replaced the cable as well as installed a new 200 amp main breaker panel to correct the problem. The customer was very pleased with our response and quality workmanship.
This cottage home was remodeled with "family" in mind. The area pre-build was a tiny and cramped space and now allows for friends and family year-round for a quick get-away or a long relaxing vacation. The lighting added gives the fireplace area definition and class.
Old fuse boxes for apartments, Marlock Electric brought them all into one nice clean panel. Another great example of Marlock Electric's exceptional quality of work!
This customer was having their house sided and the contractor noticed some severe aging on the electric service cable. They then reached out to us for our professional opinion as to whether it should be replaced or not. As you can see from the before photo the outer sheathing of the cable was in rough shape. We installed a brand new 100 amp electrical service with new panel box, breakers and new grounding. Now the new siding will look that much better when complete.
Initially this Williamson, NY customer was in the process of trying to replace their electric service on the exterior of their home on their own. What seemed like a simple project very quickly became a large issue for them. The electric was very outdated and the requirements of the job according to the electric company should be performed by a licensed electrician. With this knowledge, the Williamson, NY homeowner reached out to us for a quote on the project. Our project estimator took pictures of the before and after project as seen, and we were able to get the service replaced and back up and running the same day. The meter on the exterior of the home will also allow for more efficient meter reads, hopefully costing the homeowner less money between actual reads. What a great team we have working for us and the electric industry is better for our professional electricians.
