Marlock Electric was sent to a home in Newark, NY where the service entrance cable on the side of the house was falling and in great disrepair. We see this often due to the weather in our area and are asked to also place meters on the exterior of the home, as the older homes are primarily in the basements. 

We were able to install a new service for the customer as well as place the meter on the exterior so that the power company can read it without having to gain entry into the house. 

Mr. H was looking to upgrade his generator to accommodate the needs of his home. As technology becomes more sophisticated we tend to require more energy and therefore this Newark, NY homeowner was looking to upgrade his "outdated" generator. He stopped into our office at 104 Emmons Street and requested a formal quote. Our knowledgeable project estimator scheduled a convenient time to meet with the homeowner and assess his requirements to give him the power he required if there were a power outage in the area. We were able to fit the home with a new 16kw Generac generator using the existing transfer switch. These homeowners in Newark, NY contacted Marlock Electric to help with the remodeling of their kitchen which included a lighting upgrade. Per request of the homeowners, we installed LED can lighting above the sink as well as LED style under cabinet lights to illuminate the work spaces. These LED lights are energy efficient and add decor to the room by the way the accent the counter tops and window. (Both pictures were taken after the project was completed, the only difference is the lights being turned on in the "after" picture, to exhibit the effects of our work).

These photos show a project where we performed a lighting upgrade. We swapped out the existing hid fixtures with new led fixtures. This not only brightened up the entry to make it safer for the customers but it also helped save on electric usage as the new fixtures are much more energy efficient.
