This generator was installed for an elderly couple in Williamson, NY where power outages happen a little more frequently then most would feel comfortable with. 

These power outages have caused trouble for the couple in the past and they wanted the security of knowing their heat and appliances would stay operating in a winter storm outage.

We installed a powerful 22kw generator with 150amp transfer switch to keep the power on and the couple will be met with a sense of security that while there neighbor may not have power, they will. 

Initially this Williamson, NY customer was in the process of trying to replace their electric service on the exterior of their home on their own. What seemed like a simple project very quickly became a large issue for them. The electric was very outdated and the requirements of the job according to the electric company should be performed by a licensed electrician. With this knowledge, the Williamson, NY homeowner reached out to us for a quote on the project. Our project estimator took pictures of the before and after project as seen, and we were able to get the service replaced and back up and running the same day. The meter on the exterior of the home will also allow for more efficient meter reads, hopefully costing the homeowner less money between actual reads. Our technicians were able to rewire and install a new safer panel box for this Williamson, NY homeowner. The wires going into this old fuse fed panel box were outdated and frankly a fire hazard for them. After rerouting wires, installing a new service on the exterior of the home our professional electricians were able to simplify the electric mayhem in their basement. As shown here the before picture was of wires going absolutely everywhere. There was no rhyme or reason as to what any of the wires went to, and non the less, they were in a much outdated fuse box that would potentially become a fire hazard. After you see the simple yet extremely useful panel box now hanging on that same basement wall. Wires marked to indicate what they run and all done in an orderly fashion. Our team at Marlock Electric arrived at this customer's home to see a very unsafe panel which was corroded with no grounding. Our technicians replaced and upgraded the panel while fixing multiple other safety issues.

This customer in Williamson, New York  contacted us when she purchased a new light fixture to replace what she had in her foyer. The high ceiling height made changing the fluorescent bulbs in her old fixture difficult to do.  She purchased a new LED fixture that modernizes her foyer and won't need bulbs replaced as often.
