This customer lost power during a recent storm and had to stay out of town in a hotel for the night until his power was restored. he decided that he had had enough of the numerous outages that have been occurring and decided that it was time to put an end to power outages once and for all. 

This project involved a complete renovation of an existing manufacturing office area. This project had some drop ceilings as well as open ceilings. We used a suspended led linear fixture for the open area which blended in nice with the blacked out ceiling. In the areas with drop ceilings we used led flat panels to provide plenty of illumination for the tasks at hand. There were some specialty fixtures which showcased the main lobby area.   

This customer had contacted our office to inquire about installing a automatic standby generator. Once we were able to do a site evaluation to determine the necessary load in the event of a outage we determined it was best to go with this new 26kw generator. This 26kw is the largest air cooled unit that Generac has on their market and was perfect for this install. This install was a little more challenging as we needed to go up and above the ceiling with our conduit and wire. Never the less the project turned out great and the customer was extremely happy.

Norman appreciated our willingness to be on his property the next morning to provide him with a free estimate. Marlock Electric had the pleasure of installing all new lighting in Marshall Exteriors new home improvement showroom, and offices. This customer elected to build small scale homes to accent his building products and we installed exterior lighting as if it were a normal home. LED high bay lights were installed on the ceiling in the showroom to illuminate the small scale homes, as well as LED recessed cans on some of the displays. Throughout the offices, LED flat panels were installed to create a bright & lively workplace for employees at Marshall Exteriors. Our team was happy to be a part of this project and the growth of Marshall Exteriors.

The Terrace at Newark is an assisted living home with multiple units each containing it's own set of rooms, and a dining room. To support their growth and addition of new elderly residents, The Terrace needed to create another unit to maintain comfortable living spaces for all residents. We had the opportunity to do the electrical work in the new wing (i.e. in the residents' appartments, the hallway, dining room, and new entrance). Pictured, is the new dining room, which makes transportation much easier for the residents living in the new wing, as they do not have to walk as far to the other dining rooms. We were so happy to be part of the project. 

A Newark, NY homeowner was referred to Marlock Electric, Inc. by their real-estate agent. The customers were in the market of selling their home and found that some of the exterior electric had been worn over time and was in need of replacement. The inspection found that the exterior sheathing for the service entrance cable had deteriorated and was in need of replacement. Also, the mast for the electric service above the roof was not tethered to counter the tension of the service pole and the mast. This could cause the pole to bend from the tension placed on it by the service to the house. The inspection also found the panel box cover had been removed and needed to be replaced securely to prevent electric shock. In order for this to pass inspection and allow the house to sell, our technicians would need to replace the weathered SEU cable, update the grounding per code and ground to the water meter as well as install a new guide wire on the riser. 

The job was completed in about four hours and the homeowner was thrilled! This would allow them to market their home and sell it too.
