It's always an exciting time for a homeowner when they purchase items for their home. Especially when a new appliance is purchased. Mrs.W of Webster, NY recently went and purchased a new range of her home and requested us to supply a new gas range outlet for her. Our service technician was able to install her electric so her new appliance was up and running in no time!!! 

While we were on site, we were also able to supply her with four new outlets in her basement to make the task of plugging in electronic equipment and additional lighting a breeze. 

We were happy to install a new 400amp single phase electric service with a 200amp main breaker for a beautiful 1,900sf home in Webster, NY. Also completed for this customer was to bring this house to code with 120v circuit for a jacuzzi tub, wiring for appliances including electric range, dryer, dishwasher, disposal and hood fan. We were also able to furnish and install all smoke and CO2 detectors to meet NYS building code as well as all wiring for furnace and air conditioning units. 

The customer was very pleased with the work performed as well as the professionalism of our team. 

The Lyons National Bank project is the first for this company built in Monroe County. Located at 1314 Fairport Road it is the thirteenth bank for them since their beginning in 1852. New homes now being built in Henrietta, NY gave Marlock Electric, Inc. the green light to get busy installing new services, rough electric and finish electric to these beautiful new homes surrounded by a nature preserve. The homes are somewhat similar but each their own unique layouts. The customers are able to walk through with the builders as well as the electricians and interior designers to decide on items such as sconce and hanging fixtures, wall lights, electric for their new appliances, motion sensing lighting for the exterior of the home, security lighting, switching and outlets as well as door bell and garage door electric. The choices are endless, but most homeowners have a certain sense of style that they put into their homes to give it just the right expression.

This newly renovated building became the home of what is known as Sanger Dental. This project involved renovating an older building and turning it in to this new, modernized, comfortable environment for it's patients and staff. This project consisted of upgrading the old existing electrical service, installing new LED lighting throughout the entire building, wiring for all of the dental equipment needed, as well as data cabling. We always enjoy the outcome of these projects as we think back to what it was when we first started.

This customer in Rochester called us to upgrade an electrical service from a 100 amp to a 200 amp service. This request was to accommodate additional electrical loads being added to her home. This will allow for additional circuits to be added to her electrical system without overloading the current wiring. This request is common due to the fact that many older homes only had a 100 amp service installed at the time it was built. The customer's upgraded 200 amp service now has more circuits which is helpful if your home uses a lot of electricity, which means there is a lower chance of overload, creating a safer electrical system overall. Thanks to the upgraded service, their home is now less prone to fires and overloaded circuits. This particular project involved relocating the existing panel box due to clearance violations per the National Electric Code.

The Villas at Easthampton are custom built town homes in Webster, which all make up a great community to live in. This community consists of 2, 3, and 4 bedroom town homes with an open floor plan, private entryway, and 2 and a half car garages. Marlock Electric was been working with The Villas at Easthampton for about 6 years as the community continues to grow with the addition of new homes. Marlock Electric has done the electrical wiring for these new patio homes in Webster, and continues to do so when each new home is built. Each building consists of 4 units, and each unit is equipped with 200 amp underground services, and various types of LED lighting including recessed. Many of these units also include whole house surge protection devices, to protect electronics as well as appliances within the home. Besides wiring all new town homes, we also installed site lighting for security as well as illumination.

This customer called our office after having done work with us before, this time about installing an electrical service for his pool. Our technicians started the project by using an excavator to dig at this customer's house, so that they could install an underground service to provide power for an inground swimming pool and all associated equipment. Underground electrical services are very popular when a homeowner is getting a pool, due to avoiding unsightly overhead lines ruining the look of the landscape. 

Marlock Electric had the pleasure of choosing and designing the layout of the lighting as well as installing it at the new Rochester Institute of Technology Alumni House. This Alumni House exists as an environment for alumni, faculty, staff, students, families, friends, etc. to get together in, with a community feel. Team retreats can be held there, meetings, attending lectures, or RIT celebrations. All rooms are brightly lit with a warm ambiance and lighting fixtures that add lots of decor and character to the house as well. We were happy to be a part of this project and watch all of our plans with the lighting come together nicely. Our crew did a great job of ensuring that the end-user was completely satisfied.

Jerry called us hoping we could help him out by installing a new chandelier in his foyer. This chandelier was about 18 feet high on the ceiling of his entryway making it impossible for him to clean it himself; so he had a cleaning company come to take care of it. Unforunately, they broke one of the globes during the cleaning. To really help Jerry out and so he wouldn't have to deal with this issue again, we not only installed a new chandelier but a light lift kit as well. Now, he can lower his chandelier with a remote control clean it himself and raise it back up.

On March 30th, 2020, Bob called to report a red light was showing on his generator. That same day Marlock Electric was able to send a generator technician out to troubleshoot the issue. It was determined that a new engine was needed to resolve the problem. Marlock Electric received a new engine directly from Generac within days after reporting the customers problem to the manufacture. The customers down time was very minimal considering the extent of needing a full engine replacement. Marlock Electric resolved the customers crisis quicky & efficiently and maintained our high level of service.

Marlock Electric was contacted by Tom to address his concern with the power outages he had been experiencing in his area. Within days after Tom's request, Marlock Electric's project estimator was able to visit with Tom on his property to provide a free estimate for standby backup power. 

A few days after presenting Tom with his install estimate Marlock Electric was awarded the job to install a Cummins 13KW standby generator and automatic transfer switch on Tom's property. Tom was elated with the quality of work Marlock Electric performed and the time in which they did the job!

Marlock Electric had been contacted by Steve to provide him with a free estimate to install standby backup power to his property. Within days after receiving our estimate Steve had accepted our offer to move forward with the installation. Suddenly our country had been hit with the Covid19 pandemic and Steve was forced to hold off on the project. Marlock Electric was understanding of the situation and remained in contact with Steve during that time. 

A little more than a month later both Steve and Marlock Electric were able to move forward with the install. One of the biggest accomplishments during this project is that Marlock Electric completed this install with 1 electrician while following NYS health guidelines in the process. Steve was elated to have this install completed and now lives with the peace of mind he was intending to find!

Marlock Electric was contacted by Greg who was happy to learn that Marlock was able to service his area after reading their online reviews. Greg had an urgent need to add backup power to his home due to more than normal power outages being so close to the lake. After meeting with Shawn (Marlock Electrics generator specialist) Greg was very impressed with Shawn's knowledge and overall service he provided. 

After dealing with a few hurdles put in place by the COVID 19 pandemic and the restrictions Matlock Electric had to endure, the install was still completed within just a little over a month's time. Greg is elated with the quality of work Marlock Electric performed and is proud to show off his new Generac Guardian 16KW standby unit.

Marlock Electric was contacted by Doug to install standby backup power to his home in case of a power outage. Doug is a repeat customer who had Marlock Electric install his new service panel back in October of 2019. While we were on that service upgrade job Marlock Electric's electrician also ran the gas line for a future generator install that Doug was already planning for. 

Fast forward to this past week Marlock Electric installed Doug's 22KW Generac unit while working in the rain and avoiding thunderstorms all day. That evening around 8 pm Doug experienced an unexpected power outage and was elated to have power when his neighbors were left in the dark!

Aileen contacted Marlock Electric to express interest in an automatic standby generator. Aileen & her husband are elderly and wanted to secure their peace of mind in case of an extended power outage. Aileen preferred to have Marlock Electric's generator specialist contact her via phone before visiting their property due to her concerns with the virus pandemic. Aileen was pleased with Marlock Electric working with her and showing the respect for her safety. 

Less than a week later Aileen was ready to have Marlock Electric's generator specialist out to her property to provide a free estimate. Aileen was quick to move forward with the install of a 13KW Generac unit with a 100A transfer switch. Mike contacted Marlock Electric expressing his interest in automatic standby power for his home. Mike's concern was losing power to his 2 sump pumps in the basement. Mike realized that an extended power outage would be catastrophic to his property. Mike met with Marlock Electric's generator speacialist (Shawn Burditt) and was blown away by Shawn's knowledge and care for this project. 

A few weeks later Marlock Electric was given the opportunity to install a 13KW Generac unit with a 150A transfer switch on Mike's property. Mike no longer worries about sudden power outages and flooding to his basement. Marlock Electric secures peace of mind to another great customer!

This Kohler 20kw automatic standby generator was installed at a brand new house under construction. The utility company was estimating approximately one month before they would be able to provide power to the house. With this early installation, we are able to provide power during the drywall and finishing phase to prevent any delays in the completion date. This unit will then be able to provide backup power for the homeowner for years to come.

This project involved installing a new 24kw automatic standby generator to provide power for this property during a power outage. We were able to install a couple of transfer switches, as well as load, shed kits to accommodate the customer's needs.

This customer contacted us to install the EV charger for the new vehicle that they were purchasing. With this new charger, they will be able to charge at a much faster rate. 

This not for profit was looking for a cost effective way to keep the essential power on in the event of a power loss. We installed this 24kw with load shed kits to make the project fit the customers budget. Now they can keep the lights and heat on.
